Technology incubators and their role in developing social innovation: A field study at the Amar Telidji University incubator in Laghouat

The university is one of the most important educational institutions contributing to economic, social, and sustainable development, especially with the presence of technology incubators and their role as an incubator for social innovation, supporting start-up projects, and developing creative ideas. This study aims to better understand the role of the technological incubator at Amar Telidji University in Laghouat in developing and improving social innovation, by revealing the nature of the relationship between technical support and the provision of financial funding provided by the technological incubator in Laghouat and achieving social innovation. The descriptive analytical approach was used to conduct the study and the electronic questionnaire was used as a main tool for collecting information. The study concluded that incubators are an essential component in supporting entrepreneurs and startups. The technical support provided by these incubators can significantly contribute to developing programming solutions for social problems. Furthermore, the availability of financial funding from incubators has a significant impact on achieving social contribution.
