Governance of family businesses: A case study of the ABM LLC

This article examines the specific features of family business governance through a case study of an Algerian family-owned company. It aims to highlight what makes the governance system of a family business unique. In a family business, the family's influence is evident in the control of ownership through the establishment of formal and legal corporate governance structures, such as the board of directors, audit committees, as well as family governance structures like the family assembly, the family council, and even family meetings.
